If connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can print directly to the printer via your Wi-Fi access point. If you use an Ethernet network that is connected to the Internet, you can even print via the cloud. Take advantage of the HP Web app, and use the menus that appear on the 2.65” LCD to assist with the print process.

The 6830 and 8610 also have a Wireless Direct feature (similar to Wi-Fi Direct). So you can connect directly to the printer via Wi-Fi, the printer is not connected to the network.

In terms of features, the 6830 is indeed similar to the 8610. However, the physical 6830 which is the successor to the Officejet 6700 Premium is not as big as 8610. The print capability is also not as much as 8610.

As for the tray capacity, the 6830's is smaller than the 8610. If the 8610 tray is capable of 250 sheets of paper, the 8630 can only accept 225 sheets.

Meanwhile, for scanning, the 6830 and 8610 exhibit ADF (automatic document feeder) with a capacity of 35 sheets.

Officejet Pro 8610 is 50% more efficient than laser printers for energy consumption. Because the ink system is sprayed onto the paper, so it doesn't go through the heating system.
